Balls of Thrust ball bearings are arranged between a set of washers (a shaft washer and housing washer) and the contact angle is 90°. Axial loads can be supported in only one direction and radial loads cannot be supported. These bearings are unsuitable for high speed operation . they have pressed steel cage and brass cage .
